Our debut edit of “Five Moods of a Single Pattern” introduces a series of plaid checked designs in which a single visual principle unfolds across shifting states.
Comprising five distinct works, each piece is rooted in the same structure yet varies in colour, rhythm, and overall feel. The result is a spectrum of moods: from restrained and quietly composed to more contrasting and charged; from cool, natural palettes to warmer, more balanced tones. Taken together, the series explores how subtle visual shifts reshape the perception of a familiar pattern.

In this series, the pattern remains structurally unchanged, yet its perception shifts. Colour and rhythm create distinct states in which the same principle is experienced differently each time. The designs can be viewed as a sequence or individually; in both cases, the pattern retains its structure while shifting towards a new mood.
Available across textiles, interiors, and graphic design, the patterns can be combined effortlessly within the series.
